During May 2020 some pastors and prophecy teachers were proclaiming that the world was undergoing the effects of the Bible’s end-time Birth Pangs and that the Coronavirus (Covid-19) was the latest Birth Pang. Is this view accurate? I certainly do not believe so.

Some authors claim that there is only one war during the End Times and that war is Armageddon. They view all unfulfilled prophecies of end-time wars as applying to Armageddon and thus view Gog and Magog as the same as Armageddon. Is there any truth to this claim?

A person is said to be “sleeping” after death. Does the soul sleep in the sense of being completely unconscious after a person’s death?

Is the invasion of Israel by Gog and Magog the same war as Armageddon? This article will examine some of the primary characteristics revealed by scripture regarding the end-time leaders of Gog and the Antichrist, and the prophetic wars of Gog and Magog and Armageddon to determine the accuracy of some author’s claims that they are the same leaders and the same wars.

How does an understanding of the Hebrew word “betach” influence the interpretation of the prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and 39? The King James Version has translated “betach” three times in chapter 38 as “safely.” Many scholars believe that Israel will be dwelling safely meaning it will be under a covenant of peace at the time of the invasion of Gog and Magog. However, Israel is currently dwelling under a false sense of security. How does that relate to the meaning of “betach”?
